Access our exclusive Island via the resort ferry, private boat or water taxi. As a carless Island the most popular way of getting around is by bicycle, so you can be free to truly unwind, relax and enjoy getting back to nature.
Our ferry departure terminal and ticket office is located at Mariner’s Cove, 60-70 Seaworld Drive Main Beach on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The boat journey is a short relaxing ferry cruise along the Broadwater. Enjoy a glimpse of the houses of the rich and famous as we journey past Sovereign Islands, the spectacular seaway and Wave Break Island.
The Gold Coast has many water taxi operators who regularly bring guests to Couran Cove Island Resort. If you have any enquiries, please ask Reception at the time of making your booking.
Public transport links our ferry departure point with Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Trains and buses depart on average every 30 minutes and offer a cool, calm, air-conditioned journey. Use Journey Planner to learn more about different public transfer options available. Please note that nearest bus stop is about 10-15 minutes’ walk from the terminal.
Enjoy nature in all its glory, soak up the serenity, and grab some exercise as well. There are many sealed walking tracks criss-crossing the Resort and surrounding bushland. If you are feeling adventurous, the island has a vast array of bush walking tracks to discover too.
Cycling is one of the best ways to get around the Resort. Bikes are available to hire from Reception.
Our resort bus operates 7 days a week at 11am & 1pm along Surf Beach Road, and stops at key locations. Times are subject to change and extra buses operate during School Holiday periods.
Stretching out over 200 hectares with 22km of secluded
