The Alcheringa Trail – A Ten Thousand Year Walk

Alcheringa, or the Dreamtime, is the legendary “Golden Age” referred to in the many stories told by Aboriginal people. The Couran Cove site was once a meeting place for the Komumerri and Noonuccal tribes. Take a day trip to Couran Cove and follow the Alcheringa Trail to see the Aboriginal history of South Stradbroke island.
