How can one get to the Island?
By Couran Cove Island Resort's ferry or by your own boat.
Is the ferry the only way to get to the island?
The ferry is the most popular way to get to the island. The resort can also be accessed by water
taxi, private boat or helicopter.
How long is the ferry trip from the mainland to the resort?
40 minutes

Hope Harbour
How long does it take to get to the departure terminal from Brisbane Airport?
60 minutes
How long does it take to get to the departure terminal from Gold Coast Airport?
50 minutes
What time does the first ferry depart from Hope Harbour to the Resort?
10.30am
What time does the last ferry depart from the Resort to Hope Harbour?
7pm (9pm Friday and Saturday only).
On Sunday, how many ferries operate to the resort from its mainland terminal?

Where can I find the ferry timetable?
Under the 'About the Resort' menu; then under 'Help planning your trip'
Is there a weight limit to the luggage I bring on the ferry?
Yes. Each item may weigh no more than 32kgs
Can I bring my own bicycle on the ferry?
No. A large range of bikes are available to hire at the resort.
Can I bring alcohol to the island?
Yes. However we will not transport alcohol in our luggage trolleys with checked in luggage to avoid breakages.
Alcohol is therefore included in your hand luggage onto the ferry and is restricted to two items per person
Is there car parking available at the Hope Harbour ferry terminal?
Yes. A fee of $5 per day per vehicle(to a maximum of $25 per stay) is
applicable
Can I berth my own boat at the resort?
Yes. Couran Cove Island Resort has a private marina reserved for the Resort guests and marina members' use
only. If you plan to arrive by private boat, just let us know your vessel's registration and estimated time of arrival and we'll have a berth ready for
you
How many nights do you have to stay at the resort before you get unlimited ferry transfers to/from the mainland?
